The hand people

Light Green,
Woken up!
Not by the the sweet-teal sounds of birds whispering their morning secrets,
Not by the loud screams of the roaring sun's pale-pastel-yellow voice....
But by a few tiny cave-people carving caves in her left hand.

Dark-Live-charcoal-Red?

Faded-sky-blue with diluted water-streaks of white..
Withholding these primitives, engineering in her docile and ever-delicate palms,
She wondered if the morning sun was too harsh on these minutests' eyes.
So she took her remaining free right and held it over her newly pink-colonized left,

White-green,
The newly nomads, scavenged around her palm.. even all the way to the underside of here hand a could not find any sustenance,
As was the duty of here supremely tender, ever-merciful heart,
She began to take from here own food, her own life-source to give to her palm-settlers.

Pastel-topaz
Being unfathomably compassionate,
her soul was struck at the beholding of their tree-bark-rugged-ochre ignorances,
So she decided to never speak to those in her world again,
Devoting her every phrase as a teaching of wisdom and knowledge to the inhabitants of her left most extremity.

Blank-black with rugged gashes of faded white, encircled with flowing streams of pale-red-grey
Many years passed and her unceasing devotion to the colonists of her left inner palm, left them...
GROWn,
They were now person-sized beings,
and populated her world.
Their civilization had evolved from a tiny speck perilously-squirming for life, relying on her every kindness and extraordinary effort...
to one that the world is becoming to look to and from....

You know....
Whenever the earthlings ask one of the hand-people where, where-white-yellow-pastel-green-..-where they are from, how-Floating-ambigous-beams-of-orangeish-blue-yellow they are what they are...
The hand people bestow upon them, the heart-warmth ... of the tale of open handed maiden...

Pale-Orange...Faded-Blue
Though nolonger living in her hand... but by her side forever,
It is said .. the open handed-maided still occasionally sits speaking into her left palm, covering it with her right, whipsering "I love you for always" into it....

Bold-light-Orange-on a dark-grey-Blue backdrop
It is also said ... that the sun does not show or hide its face from the earth.. even once!
Without each of the hand people having remembered,.., with tears in their hearts ...
the wondrous-love of their hand-maiden....

Functor Categories as Topoi

Consider the category of functors between two categories $E:=D^C$, with D being Sets.  It may be shown that E is complete and co-complete due to the fact Sets is; thinking of each object in E as a map from C to Sets, in the sense of evaluation, it can be shown that $(\varinjlim F_i) (C)= \varinjlim F_i(C)$ where $F_i$ are objects in E.  In particular $-\times E: E \rightarrow E$ commultes with both types of limits.

Essentially E inheriting Sets' properties, similarly it can be shown that it is abelian, with enough injective objects (again see See Tamme).
On objects A of E, PE(A) defined to be the set of subfunctors $Hom_E(-,A)xE$ is a functor with values in E, and the subfunctors FxE are in bijection with the morphisms in Nat(F,PE).  Hence E is a topos.

The Functor category E as described above is called a presheaf, and in the case of a locally small category, via a Yoneda Embedding it may be though of as enlarging an arbitrary category C in such a way, that the enriched C will be complete, co-complete, abelian and posses enough injectives.

A little something on Topoi

A Topos E is a mathematical object called a locally small Category, which has limits and a power object.  That is to say that for any object A of E the functor Sub($- \times A$) of objects which factor through $- \times A$ is  non-empty member of the category $Sets$.  Moreover there is an object of E called the power object of A for which Hom(-,PA)$\cong$  Sub(-,-$\times$ A).

Note: recall since E is locally small Hom(-PA) is a set so the equivalence of objets above is a bijection in Sets.

Some examples of Topoi would be the category sets; here for any object X PX is $\mathscr{P}$(X) its power set.  With the natural equivalence of $\phi$: Hom(-,PA)$\cong$  Sub(-,-$\times$ A) to be $\phi$:Hom(1,PB)$\rightarrow$Sub(B).
